Replenishing Natural Springs for Sustainable Water Supply

Across Central Java, many communities rely on natural springs for their water supply. But in recent years, shorter rainy seasons have meant that springs are drying up. USAID teamed up with the Coca-Cola Foundation Indonesia (CCFI), the local government, and NGOs to replenish natural springs, increasing groundwater. Communities are now protecting themselves from water shortages, maintaining productivity with sustainable water sources even during the dry season.
