Malaria Battle

The United States, in conjunction with the World Health Organization, UNICEF, and the Indonesian Ministry of Health, has worked since the 1950s to eliminate malaria in Indonesia through activities such as educational programs. Today, over 72 percent of Indonesians live in areas free of malaria transmission.
