Changing Lives Through Education

In Indonesia, limited classroom resources can prevent students from gaining the skills they need to succeed in the modern workplace and make meaningful economic contributions. The U.S. partnered with Indonesia to train 250,000 teachers and educational staff in the latest teaching and learning techniques, benefiting approximately 30 percent of Indonesia’s elementary and middle school students. The Indonesian Government is now replicating these USAID teaching models widely, securing a brighter future for more youth.
